In the opening Test match between New Zealand and South Africa at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra took care of business, stitching together a 219-run partnership on the first day to help the hosts post 258/2. Following a spectacular ODI World Cup, Rachin Ravindra was considered New Zealand’s next big thing.
