In a tragic event, a batter died during a local cricket match in the Punjabi city of Firozpur, which is located in the Firozpur District.
In a terrifying video, the local cricket player, Harjeet Singh, was seen striking a six against a spinner on the leg-side. The batter moved towards the middle of the pitch and squatted on his haunches shortly after the tremendous smash. On a cricket pitch, this isn’t particularly unusual because players typically do this to collect their breath. Sitting next to the right-handed hitter, the non-striker must have had the same sentiment.
But as the right-handed batter fell to the ground, face-first, he was completely caught off guard. In an attempt to ascertain Harjeet’s whereabouts, every player hurried over to him. They attempted CPR after realising he was unconscious in an attempt to revive him. But no matter how hard they tried, Harjeet was unable to get better.
Harjeet was pronounced dead at the scene, allegedly from cardiac arrest, thus he could not be saved. The cricket community is in shock and sadness as a result of the video. Many cricket lovers left heartfelt comments for Harjeet’s family in the video’s comments section. Some of them even questioned why these kinds of incidents occur so regularly.

“We frequently ignore our bodies when working out or participating in sports. You should avoid this,” a user wrote. “How are so many heart attacks occurring at such a young age?” another individual wrote. Throughout school and college, the most crucial topic should be taking care of our bodies.
