In the Gujarat Titans’ second match of the current Indian Premier League, Prasidh Krishna made a spectacular return after being costly in their tournament opener. He won Player of the Match for GT’s 36-run victory over the joint-most successful team in the Premier League with 2/18 off four overs against the Mumbai Indians.
The former Indian seamer and head coach of GT, Ashish Nehra, and the right-arm fast shared several themes that he had discovered.
The discussions have been along similar lines regarding the choices you make as a bowler and the preparation you would bring to games, so I believe it’s crucial for me to have his opinion after all this time and success. How would you respond to a challenge, how would you handle the circumstance, and how would you handle pressure? He has been discussing those kinds of topics with me, and it is fantastic. “I get to learn this from Ashish Nehra,” said Prasidh, as cited by. “You learn different things from different people.”
We may observe and learn from each other a great deal: Prasidh Krishna
Additionally, the 6’2″ pacer talked about the abundance of skill in the GT setup and how every practice and time spent with the team offers a chance to learn a lot about cricket and character attributes from other team members.
That’s a great feature of the IPL. The team has many excellent bowlers. Many of our young people have a great deal of promise. We have a lot to see and learn from each other every time we join a net session. Additionally, you develop a relationship with others when you’re together by going out and talking to them to learn about their perspectives, how they approach the game, and how they differ from everyone else we play with. As a result, it’s wonderful to be interacting with both the young guys and the more seasoned ones,” Prasidh continued.
Following an 11-run defeat to PBKS, GT bounced back to defeat the Mumbai Indians handily. They will play Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their third IPL 2025 match on Wednesday, April 2, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The pacer from Bengaluru would be hoping to do well at his familiar venue.
