PCB will put the Pakistani players through a battery of tough fitness tests prior to the unpredictable Bangladesh series

To promote the overall growth of cricket in the nation, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has agreements with the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Higher Education Commission (HEC), and Inter-Board Coordination Commission (IBCC) through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). The top council of Pakistan has chosen to collaborate with other institutions in an effort to raise the calibre of domestic cricket after it declined over time.

Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the chairman of PCB, Federal Minister for Education Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Secretary Interior Khurram Ali Agha, Federal Secretary Education Mohiuddin Wani, CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and senior officials from HEC, IBCC, and CDA were present at the signing ceremony, which was held at CDA headquarters. The Directors of Sports HEC Javed Ali Memon, IBCC Director Muhammad Usman Khan, and Pakistan’s domestic cricket director Abdullah Khurram Niazi signed the Memorandum of Understandings.

Significantly, this agreement will guarantee more youth cricket matches and competitions, with an emphasis on the advancement of women’s cricket. In order to support pupils, it is anticipated that several cricket academies will be established, along with sports scholarships.

Physical Training Education (PTE) specialist coaching courses are another idea from PCB; PTE instructors will then coach the pupils. Top performers will be able to train at the nation’s High-Performance Centres in addition to potentially joining PCB’s U17 and U19 teams, per the agreement.

“We are ecstatic to start this historic project to advance grassroots cricket development. The Nation quoted PCB head Naqvi as saying, “We will be able to discover and cultivate young talent throughout the country through the organisation of inter-school, inter-collegiate, and inter-university tournaments.”

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the federal minister, also mentioned how important it is to cultivate talent at a young age and expressed his delight with the growth.

“The best places for talent to develop are schools. Great athletes often begin their careers in education. He said, “Under these agreements, the HEC will create a framework to promote cricket in higher education institutions, and the IBCC will coordinate tournament arrangements with all educational boards.
