PCB releases the updated schedule for Bangladesh A

The first 50-over match between Bangladesh A and Pakistan Shaheens is scheduled on August 26.

PCB releases the updated schedule for Bangladesh A

The itinerary for the forthcoming series against Bangladesh A has been made public by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). On Saturday, August 10, the team is scheduled to travel to Islamabad where they will play the Pakistan Shaheens in two four-day and three 50-over matches.

The Islamabad Club will host the games, and on August 11 and 12, both teams will rehearse and prepare following their arrival on August 10. Additionally, it will be the first four-day match versus the Pakistan Shaheens from August 13–16.

Training and practice days will resume on August 18 and 19 following the first game. The second four-day match against the Pakistan Shaheens is scheduled for 20–23 August, following the second practice session.

August 26 will mark the start of the first 50-over match versus Pakistan Shaheens, while August 28 will mark the start of the second match. Finally, the third and last 50-over game of the series will take place on August 30, which will also be the last day of play.

PCB announce squad for Bangladesh series

In relation to Pakistan’s senior team, the board has revealed the 17-player roster for their impending Test series against Bangladesh. August 21 is when the series will premiere. Top order batsman Saud Shakeel has been named as Shan Masood’s deputy for the forthcoming series. Masood will lead the team.

In the match against Bangladesh, the inclusion of players like Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi would undoubtedly strengthen Pakistan’s pace unit. Pakistan and Bangladesh will be hoping to put on strong performances and win the first Test series as both teams prepare for it.

Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Aamir Jamal (subject to Fitness), Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Kamran Ghulam, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wicket-keeper) and Shaheen Shah Afridi
