Travis Head was diagnosed with a viral virus following the opening match against the West Indies, and he is presently recuperating from it. Regarding the same, Australian captain Pat Cummins stated that Head is among the favorites to make Australia’s playing eleven for the second Test, having “almost recovered” from his virus.
According to India Today, Cummins stated, “I think he’s almost out of it. He’ll be fine, and he’ll train tonight. Obviously, even if he is still positive he can still play, there might just be a few protocols.”
