Pat Cummins, who will play India in the 2023 ODI World Cup final in front of a “one-sided” audience, said, “It’s about embracing it.”

It's going to be something truly unique. One of the highlights of my career was the World Cup in 2015, according to Pat Cummins.

The present ODI World Cup final is set, with team India facing off against powerful Australia for the coveted championship on Sunday, November 19, at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Both teams advanced to the championship match of the competition after putting on outstanding performances in the semifinals. In the second semi-final of the tournament in Kolkata, Australia, led by Pat Cummins, defeated South Africa by three wickets. Pat Cummins remarked that Australia felt prepared to face the Men in Blue, who are undefeated in the competition.

Leading his side in a World Cup final against India, according to Pat Cummins, is a unique experience. He went on to say that he never imagined he would compete in the Indian Open final.

Few of us have participated in championship games before; a few other guys in a T20 World Cup final; the world’s largest stadium will be filled; the match will primarily be one-sided. However, it’s about accepting it,” India Today cited Pat Cummins as stating.

It’s going to be something truly unique. One of the joys of my career was the 2015 World Cup; I never imagined I’d be playing in an Indian World Cup final here,” he continued.

Australia narrowly defeats the Proteas to get to the World Cup final.

Speaking about the Australia vs. South Africa second semi-final, which took place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday, November 16, the South African batting attack appeared to be in difficulty when they chose to bat first.

David Miller scored 101 runs in 116 deliveries, making him the top run scorer. In addition, Heinrich Klassen scored 47 runs in 48 deliveries during the first inning, with the Proteas scoring 212 runs. With three wickets and sixteen balls remaining, Australia defeated the five-time winners, with Travis Head leading the way with 62 off 48.
