'India is playing with just one fast bowler'- Parthiv Patel, Kevin Pietersen question host's tactics in England T20I series

After winning the 3rd T20I in Rajkot, the India versus. England series is still going strong. On Friday, January 31, the next match will take place at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) stadium in Pune. It might be the series finale, or if England wins, it will force the last match to be played in Mumbai.

Some commentators are criticizing the Indian team’s tactics following their dismal performance in Rajkot, despite the fact that they presently lead the series 2-1. Parthiv Patel, a former cricket player for India, criticized some of the mistakes, saying that the hosts are failing to use a single fast bowler with specialized skills in the starting lineup. Because of Liam Livingstone’s relentless pursuit of Ravi Bishnoi and his efforts to ensure that England scored a respectable total in the third game, he thinks a third seamer should be included.

“India only has one fast bowler available for play. You chose to use four spinners, which benefited Liam Livingstone. After pursuing them, he scored runs. Targeting Liam would have been simple if the Playing XI had included another pacer.

Parthiv Patel claimed on Star Sports that India was missing a trick.

Kevin Pietersen, the 2010 T20 World Cup champion and former England cricketer, concurred with Parthiv’s assertion that Livingstone was eventually removed by Hardik Pandya at the Niranjan Shah Stadium after he had smashed Bishnoi all over the pitch.

It’s a valid point, Parthiv. Parthiv stated that another speedster in the team would have been beneficial for the Indian team after Livingstone was ultimately removed by Hardik Pandya after smashing fours and sixes.

Arshdeep Singh, a left-arm seamer, got three wickets in the first two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) before being rested for the third match, when he was replaced by Mohammed Shami, who was playing his first international match in fifteen months. Uncharacteristically, the Bengal bowler conceded 25 runs in three overs without taking a wicket.
