Shreyansh Mithare, an advocate for singer-composer Palash Muchhal, has reacted to new allegations made by actor-producer Vidnyan Mane, a childhood friend of Smriti Mandhana. Palash was accused by Vidnyan of cheating on Smriti on their wedding day and defrauding him of INR 40 lakh over an investment in an unreleased film.
Mithare asked Vidnyan to produce reliable proof. Why Vidnyan remained silent for so long and only spoke up after the marriage was called off was another question he had.
“Vidnyan claims to have paid us money, but there is no proof that he did so via bank transfer or cheque. What is the proof for all the claims that Muchhal was seen with another woman? We met him through Smriti’s father, Shrinivas, but we don’t know him. He is not directly connected to us. Why did he remain silent for so long? He (Vidnyan) didn’t appear till after the marriage ended. According to Hindustan Times, Mithare said, “Palash is investigating his legal options.”
For those who don’t know, Vidnyan recently claimed that Muchhal had been caught red-handed with another woman.
He further disclosed how Palash was blackmailed by his mother and relatives to pay more money for the unreleased film’s budget.
He was discovered in the act of having sex with another lady while I was present at the wedding festivities on November 23, 2025. In the harrowing Bhayaanak sequence, the Indian female cricket players beat him severely. Amita Muchhal, his mother, informed me last month that the film’s release budget had grown to INR 1.5 crore. They threatened to withhold my money unless I invested an additional INR 10 lakh. I was compelled to make a complaint after they began threatening to have me removed from the movie and blackmailing me,” Vidnyan said.
In the Women’s Premier League for 2026, Smriti is now in charge of Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women. This season, she has played a crucial role in leading the team. With their first five victories, RCB W has already secured their spot in the playoffs. In five innings, Smriti has scored 192 runs at a strike rate of 140.14.
