There would be no visa requirements for Pakistani fans traveling to Ahmedabad for the ODI World Cup in 2023.

However, Pakistani athletes would do well to look out for green jerseys within the stadium.

The excitement for Saturday’s India vs. Pakistan match in Ahmedabad’s enormous Narendra Modi Stadium is at an all-time high. The lucky cricket community’s members are those fans who have managed to secure tickets for the high-stakes match. As supporters of the two countries, which are both passionate about cricket, work hard to boost their teams on social media before the game, tension is palpable. Some Pakistani journalists were able to enter the border, nevertheless, thanks to last-minute visa approvals.

This is due to the fact that Pakistani fans’ requests for visas have not been approved.

On Saturday, the Narendra Modi Stadium is anticipated to be flooded with Indian supporters. Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, stated that although his side has played in front of crowded stadiums, he thought it would have been preferable if some of their supporters had been permitted.

“This doesn’t entail much pressure because we’ve played in front of enormous crowds before… at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and all the big stadiums, in front of massive crowds… Ahmedabad will indeed just be blue, in my opinion. Therefore, it would have been beneficial for us if Pakistani fans had been allowed to attend, Babar was cited as saying by The Telegraph prior to the game.

When asked about the pressure of performing in front of his local crowd, Rohit Sharma responds, “I don’t think there is any disadvantage.”

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, was questioned about the strain of playing in front of more than a thousand thousand of his countrymen. For the India vs. Pakistan ODI World Cup match, the Narendra Modi Stadium, which has a capacity of more than one lakh, is anticipated to be packed to the gills. According to the Mumbai hitter, playing in front of home supporters is always advantageous because they support the team in every circumstance.

“I don’t see any drawbacks, in my opinion. Playing in front of your family and friends makes you feel good. No matter how the game is going, they support you, the 36-year-old stated.

“In general, I’ve found that when I play, not just in India but also outside of India, we receive a ton of support. So far, I haven’t encountered any situations when the mob turned against us or anything like. I therefore consider this to be a great advantage. We are aware that successful cricket performance will prevail in the end. A large portion of the team’s players enjoy large crowds, crowd noise, and cheers. So, yes, the lads definitely like it, said Rohit.
