Twitter Reactions: Pakistan win series with strong show in 3rd test

The three-match Test series between England and Pakistan has finally ended; following a string of poor performances, Pakistan was able to secure a series victory. The fact that England won the first Test of the series by an innings and 47 runs is noteworthy.

After that, Pakistan won the second Test of the series by defeating England by 152 runs. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium hosted the start of the third Test of the series on October 24. With England batting first and scoring 267 runs in the first innings, the match got underway.

Thanks to a remarkable century from Saud Shakeel and a tenacious, undefeated 48-run knock from Sajid Khan in the lower order, Pakistan responded with 344 runs. At the start of the third Test day, England had lost three wickets and was batting 24 runs in the second innings.

England lost wickets quickly as the third day went on. Harry Brook scored 26 runs, while Joe Root scored 33. England was bowled out for 112 runs in the second innings, with 10 further runs added by Gus Atkinson. This left Pakistan with a goal of 36 runs in the second innings.

The highest wicket-taker for the hosts was Noman Ali, who claimed six. Additionally, Sajid Khan claimed four wickets. Pakistan lost the wicket of Saim Ayub early in the chase for 36 runs. Nevertheless, Pakistan won the match by nine wickets and secured

The series as Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood remained undefeated with scores of five and twenty-three, respectively, as they chased down the mark in 3.1 overs.
