Following the Women in Green’s purchase of tickets to the main event, Mohsin Naqvi, the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), reaffirmed the position. The PCB’s action is consistent with the agreement that the teams from India and Pakistan will not visit their respective nations while hosting an ICC event. Earlier this year, Team India chose to play all of its matches in Dubai rather than travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. The desired title was eventually won by the Men in Blue.
Later this year, from September 29 to October 26, India will host the Women’s ODI World Cup. However, because India and the ICC have opted on a neutral venue for its matches, the Pakistani squad will not be travelling to India to compete in the global event. With five straight victories in the Qualifiers, Fatima Sana and her team earned a spot in the Women’s ODI World Cup.
They have no trouble playing their games at a neutral location, according to Naqvi. He said it’s crucial to follow through on the deal that was reached.
“We will play anywhere is chosen, just as India was permitted to play in a neutral location during the Champions Trophy instead of in Pakistan. India TV quoted Naqvi as adding, “When there is an agreement, it has to be adhered to.”
Mission accomplished ✅

The 46-year-old gave the Pakistani team high marks for their impressive qualifying run.
They became the first team to qualify for the tournament proper after winning all five of their games.
“The team demonstrated how to play as a cohesive one and capitalise on home advantage. “I’m glad women’s cricket is doing well now,” Naqvi said, adding that the PCB will soon reveal a unique prize for the squad.
