In the Rawalpindi Test, Pakistan will give it their best against Bangladesh

In the Rawalpindi Test, Pakistan will give it their best against Bangladesh

After Bangladesh’s arrival in Pakistan, the home team will try to take advantage of their home crowd and give the angry supporters something to cheer about. Pakistan’s performance in the last two ICC white-ball cricket tournaments has been awful. They intend to launch a full-fledged speed attack in the opening Test as they look to make a comeback against Bangladesh in the red-ball series.

Over the years, Pakistan has taken great pleasure in its speed attack, and the country is renowned for producing one of the deadliest pacers in history. The nation honoured Shoaib Akhtar, Waqar Younis, and Wasim Akram, but young people like Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi are now carrying on the tradition.

In relation to their all-out attack, Pakistan will be starting this match without a spinner for the first time in 28 years. Abrar Ahmed was the only spinner included in the Bangladesh series Test squad; he was cut before the first Test to join the Shaheens team, leaving Khurram Shehzad, Mir Hamza, and Mohammad Ali to make up the pace battery.

Aamer Jamal is perhaps the best bowler aside from the speedsters. He was excellent with the bat down the order and starred with 18 wickets on the most recent visit to Australia. Regretfully, since the beginning of the summer, the right-arm pacer has been dealing with lower back issues, so he will be missed in the upcoming series.

The last time Pakistan used an all-speed attack was in Rawalpindi in December 2019. After a ten-year break, Test cricket returned to the nation with this historic match. Pakistan bowled just once in the encounter, which finished in a draw, as the pacers claimed six wickets before the visiting team declared on 308 runs.
