On Sunday, September 10 at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Ind and Pak will square off in the Super 4 match of the Asia Cup 2023. Indian openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma gave their team an electric start after being given the opportunity to bat first. They put together a big 121-run stand for the first wicket.
The images of Pak fielders blowing a few opportunities during their collaboration have gone viral on social media.
Shaheen Afridi dropped Shubman Gill at third man during the second over of the match. In the ninth over, Gill also gained another opportunity when he edged a Naseem Shah delivery between the slip fielders who chose not to go for the catch.
