Iftikhar Ahmed hit a six at the conclusion of the over, costing Thomas 33 runs. Thomas ultimately ended his spell with figures of 1/63 in four overs, having earlier in the innings taken the wicket of Shai Hope. In his final over, he bowled much better, giving up just 12 runs.
Romario Shepherd scored an undefeated 73 off 34 balls to lead Guyana to 202/6 in their 20 overs. Nevertheless, on a flat deck, this proved to be insufficient.
With four wickets remaining, the Kings were able to reach the 203-run mark in just 18.1 overs thanks to an incredible innings by Ackeem Auguste, who scored 73 off 35 balls.
