The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala will host Match 27 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 between Australia and New Zealand on Saturday, October 28. Australia made a huge score of 388 all out in 49.2 overs after being put to bat first, and Travis Head produced an incredible century on his comeback.
Glenn Maxwell also scored 41 off 24 balls in a fast-paced innings that included two sixes and five fours. With his wide assortment of strokes on display, the aggressive batsman smashed the Kiwi bowlers all over the field. He propelled Mitchell Santer onto the stadium roof with a shot that had everyone holding their breath.
Glenn Maxwell came down the track and smacked it over the bowler’s head for an enormous six that landed on the roof.
The left-arm spinner bowled a flighted delivery outside the off stump on the third ball of the 43rd over. The shot, which is also the longest six in the tournament thus far, traveled an incredible 104 meters.

In his World Cup debut, Travis Head records the fastest hundred.
Australia had a fantastic start to the innings when openers Travis Head and David Warner put on a huge 175-run partnership off 115 balls. Warner was dismissed for 81 (65), missing short on his third consecutive hundred in the tournament despite continuing his incredible form. However, Head hit an incredible hundred runs after returning to the Australian team after an injury.
In addition, he scored 109 (67) off of ten fours and seven sixes in his innings, setting a record for the fastest century on his World Cup debut in just 59 balls. Josh Inglis (38 off 28) and Pat Cummins (37 off 14) helped Australia reach 388 in the last overs after he was dismissed. The two best bowlers for New Zealand were Glenn Phillips, who took three wickets in 10 overs with a 3/37 average, and Trent Boult, who took three wickets in ten overs with a 3/77 average.
