With Australia’s spin specialist Adam Zampa, the 23-year-old is presently tied for the most wickets taken in the ongoing tournament due to his scorching form. In the competition thus far, the pair has claimed a combined 16 wickets.
Shaheen played a key role in the Babar Azam-led team’s historic victory over Bangladesh on October 31 in Kolkata. The 1992 champions won by seven wickets thanks to the outstanding final figures of 3/23 from the ace speedster.
