Chinelle Henry’s spectacular blitz helped UP-W reach 177.
Before Chinelle Henry reached the crease after the fall of the sixth wicket in the fourteenth over, UP-W had not really regained any momentum in their innings following the demise of Navgire. On his way to a 62-run knock off only 23 balls, the West Indian destroyed the opposition bowling unit, smashing two fours and eight maximums in an absolutely captivating display of power-hitting.
Marizanne Kapp stood out among the bowlers for DC-W. She finished her four-over performance with stats of 2/18 after bowling a total of 18 dot deliveries. Jess Jonassen was slightly more costly. Nevertheless, she finished with four wickets. In their ascent to 177, the Warriorz lost nine wickets.
