“People believe he’s God.” Navjot Singh Sidhu defends Virat Kohli following a comment about his strike rate

“People consider Kohli to be God. Since he is a person, he will also act like one. Why don’t we examine man’s 80 centuries instead of picking faults? He has no weakness; that is his strength. And if you look closely, you’ll see that he lofted the spinners and played off the back foot today. How many people can accomplish that, please? How many players are capable of hitting a left-arm spinner against the spin? Thus, Kohli is a presence and he also values his wicket. What other duty does he have? Sidhu disclosed this to Star Sports.

Amidst the same discourse, Mohammad Kaif also defended Kohli, stating that it is evident that he will bat at a lesser strike rate throughout the middle overs. These days, strike-rate is all I hear. People are pursuing Kohli. It’s obvious, boss, to slow down between overs 7 and 15. A spinner’s economy rate is smaller than that of a fast bowler. How come? due to the fact that they bowl the middle overs,” Kaif stated.
