Watch: Navdeep Saini cleans up Gill with an absolute peach during the Duleep Trophy game ,video goes viral

The Shubman Gill-led team of India A began the Duleep Trophy 2024 match between India B and India brightly, hoping to top India B’s first-inning score of 321. With his incredible 181-run innings, Musheer Khan elevated the Abhimanyu Easwaran team to a pinnacle. Navdeep Saini, along from Musheer, shone with his 56 runs while batting at number eight.

For India A, Gill and Mayank Agarwal opened the innings with 57 runs in 14 overs. On the last delivery of the 14th over, Saini, who was outstanding with the bat, showed off his deadly ball skills by demolishing Gill’s lumber. Gill chose to leave the ball as the right-arm pacer pitched a fuller delivery that nipped in and pitched on a decent length area. With a bang, the off stump rolled over, leaving the captain startled as he returned to the hut with a meagre 25 runs.

Musheer scored 181 runs brilliantly off 373 deliveries, accounting for over 60% of India B’s total. Akash Deep shone for India A, taking four wickets, and Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed both contributed two wickets. A noteworthy contribution by India B hitters, aside from Saini, was Yashasvi Jaiswal’s thirty runs. Not a single batter reached the 20-run threshold.

Here’s the viral video of Gill’s dismissal:

After a strong start, Agarwal leaves.
There’s another reason the match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium is going to be so popular. The attendance on Day 2 is double that of Day 1 and features two of Bengaluru’s most well-known cricket players, KL Rahul and Agarwal, who are competing for India A.

However, the Bengaluru audience will be hoping for more as Saini dismissed Agarwal with his second over after Tea. The ball took a tiny edge off the bat and raced away from Pant as he bowled a down-the-leg delivery.

The batter who was keeping wicket dove to his left and extended both arms in an attempt to make the catch. 36 of 45 runs were scored by the right-handed hitter.
