Nat Sciver-Brunt, an all-rounder for England, said she was excited to play in front of big crowds in the 2023 Women’s Ashes. Between June and July 2023, the Women’s Ashes match between England Women and Australia Women will take place in England. The Ashes series will start on June 22, and it will include one Women’s Test match, three Women’s Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), and three Women’s One Day Internationals (WODIs).
Nat Sciver-Brunt said that since England is the underdog, there is no added pressure on them. She also said that the number of tickets sold is big, which means they will be looked at a little more carefully. Notably, with less than a month left until the start of the multi-format series, over 70,000 tickets had already been sold at seven locations.
“We’re the outsiders, so there’s no more pressure on us. Since we sold a lot of tickets, a lot more people are looking at us. “That could bring pressure, but only from the outside,” Nat Sciver-Brunt said.
“These are chances that can’t be missed. It is the right time, place, and moment,” she told BBC Sport.

The English all-rounder went on to say that the next series will be different because more fans will be there to cheer them on and make more noise. The 30-year-old also said that the crowd noise will give them more energy. Sciver-Brunt also said that she loves the idea of playing for big people, turning the noise, intensity, and pressure into a good thing.
“I hope we can do as well as the Lionesses did. It will feel different because there will be more people there, who we hope will cheer us on and make more noise. That will help because it will give us energy when we need it or let us ride the wave when things are going well,” Natalie said.
“That’s where we want to be. We want to play in front of big crowds, and we want to use the noise, energy, and pressure to our advantage,” she said.
