Nasum Ahmed Always Ready to Play – Asia Cup 2025

According to Nasum Ahmed, he is always prepared to play when his team needs him. Nasum played his debut Asia Cup 2025 match against Bangladesh. On Tuesday, September 16, he bowled 2/11 in four overs against Afghanistan, making an immediate impression and winning Player of the Match.

Additionally, Nasum Ahmed stressed that he is always willing to give the squad his all at every opportunity.

After rejoining the team earlier this month and putting on another outstanding performance with the ball, he also talked about his matches against the Netherlands.

“I always strive to give it my all and am prepared to play. It works sometimes and doesn’t work other times. Returning and taking home the Player of the Match trophy is nothing new. According to Cricbuzz, Nasum Ahmed said, “I was also the Player of the Match in the last game (against Netherlands on September 1).”

The bowling all-rounder also conveyed his admiration for the team’s perseverance and focus in all circumstances.

“Everything relies on the needs of the team, which may be determined by our strategy, tactics, or the opposition. One must occasionally sit out as a result. However, I’m not concerned about that. We remain psychologically ready for anyone to try to do well whenever he has the opportunity,” he continued.

In reference to Bangladesh’s most recent game, Nasum Ahmed recorded 4-1-11-2. During his session, he delivered 16 dot deliveries and took the wickets of Ibrahim Zadran (5 off 12) and Sediqullah Atal (0 off 1). In Abu Dhabi, the Tigers defeated the Afghans by eight runs.

Bangladesh’s bowling effort was a team effort. Mustafizur Rahman took three wickets at 3/28 in four overs. Similar to Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed and Rishad Hossain each took two wickets. Bangladesh reached 154/5 earlier because to a brilliant knock from Tanzid Hasan (52 off 31).
