The 33-year-old batsman, who last played for his country in 2017, is credited with becoming the second Indian batter after Virender Sehwag to reach a triple century in Test cricket.
As of right now, Nair is the greatest run scorer with 664 runs, including five hundreds, throughout the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
