In the final edition of the five-match Twenty20 International series, India defeated Australia 4-1 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, defeating them by six runs on Sunday, December 3. India, batting first, scored a respectable 160/8 in the 20 overs that were allowed to them. Australia was confined to 154/8 in their 20 overs in response.

Ravi Bishnoi, an Indian wrist spinner who emerged as the series’ top wicket-taker with nine scalps from five matches, was one of the series’ biggest stars. In the sixth Twenty20 International, Bishnoi once again showed well, scoring 2/29 in four overs. Legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muthiah Muralidaran praised Bishnoi after his outstanding performance in the series, highlighting his unusual ability to bowl faster than others.

Muthiah Muralidaran stated on JioCinema, “He bowls quicker and makes a lot of slides with the ball.

Every generation in India has always had a good, um, spin. From Anil (Kumble) to Ravi Ashwin, and now to the young men who have arrived, you can see. When it comes to leg spinners, Bishnoi is unlike any other.  Axar is also very accurate, not much of a ball spinner, and Washi is similar in that he doesn’t turn much and is accurate and pretty quick.

In his T20I career, Ravi Bishnoi has 34 scalps.

The 23-year-old made his Eden Gardens debut against the West Indies in February 2022. Since then, he has taken 34 wickets at an average of 17.38 and an economy of 7.14 from 21 games. The spinner from Rajasthan was a candidate for selection in the 2022 T20 World Cup team. Nevertheless, because Yuzvendra Chahal, another wrist spinner, was already on the team, the selectors decided to go with the seasoned off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.

Chahal is not included in the team for the upcoming Twenty20 International series against South Africa, so Bishnoi has a fantastic opportunity to guarantee his place in the T20 World Cup by maintaining his incredible form.
