Following the tragedy, Royal Challengers Bengaluru promised to provide the relatives of the deceased with INR 25 lakh apiece. The team, supporters, and cricket community members all conveyed their profound sorrow and support for those impacted.
The foundation of RCB Cares, a long-term project devoted to its supporters, was revealed by RCB on Monday, September 1. Through significant deeds and unwavering dedication, the program seeks to inspire, empower, and encourage the “12th Man Army.”
They belonged to us. Our city, our community, and our team are distinctive in part because of this. Each of us will carry their absence in our memories,” the statement said.
RCB further highlighted that the INR 25 lakh help is a commitment to compassion, solidarity, and ongoing support for the families of the deceased, in addition to providing cash relief. The franchise promised that its support will go beyond financial aid under the RCB Cares campaign, emphasising prompt, open, and caring aid for fans and families affected by the tragedy.
