Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh, blasted the famous captain after an old dispute involving former all-rounder Irfan Pathan and MS Dhoni recently came to light again. Yograj introduced his long-standing criticism of the 2011 World Cup-winning captain, along with jabs at Kapil Dev and Bishan Singh Bedi, after the hookah comment associated with Dhoni made news.
The event happened after a Pathan interview from when he was five years old became popular on social media. The left-armer alluded to being sidelined for non-performance-related reasons, even though Dhoni allegedly reassured him he was doing well. Yograj took the opportunity to attack Dhoni, claiming that Pathan’s experience was not the only one of its kind.
The old bowler recollected a chat with MS Dhoni during the 2008 Commonwealth Bank series in Australia in the video.
“Irfan Pathan is not the only issue. Gautam Gambhir is seen discussing it. Virender Sehwag also stated it candidly. Harbhajan Singh described how he was dismissed from the team without warning. You ought to set up a jury to determine why he did what he did. MS Dhoni is unwilling to respond. Speaking to InsideSport, Yograj stated, “One who refuses to answer has a guilty conscience.”
Yograj Singh: Jo galat hai wo galat hai
Yograj’s criticism of MS Dhoni is not new to him. He has publicly discussed Yuvraj Singh’s exclusion from the national squad as a result of MS Dhoni influence throughout the years. He continued by accusing Indian captains Kapil Dev and Bishan Singh Bedi of mistreating players when they were on the pitch.
“I discuss MS Dhoni, Kapil Dev, and Bishan Singh Bedi. I am able to discuss the people I have dated. People have been treated like s*** by them. Galat hai wo galat hai, jo. One wrong does not equal one right. I publicly state that our skipper damaged our squad and cricket players,” Yograj continued.
