“A few people have taken our place. Although replacing Mitchell Starc is difficult, our team has come together again. We will do our best with the players we have available, but we don’t want to focus on the ones who aren’t here,” he continued.
The Delhi Capitals will play the Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, May 18, when the IPL 2025 resumes after a short break.
All-rounder Vipraj Nigam of the Delhi Capitals stated, “We are taking it as a fresh start,” before of their first game following the IPL’s return. We will attempt to maintain the momentum we started with in the first game of our campaign.
“The good thing is that we are from the same state, and I’ve played a good number of matches with him,” Vipraj stated when discussing his relationship with Kuldeep Yadav. He has been playing for a while and views me as a younger brother as well as a player, but the IPL is new to me.”
The 20-year-old responded, “The domestic season is always important for an Indian player,” when asked about the significance of state T20 tournaments and domestic cricket. All three formats require preparation. The IPL can be enjoyable if the Twenty20 matches begin early, but that isn’t always the case. Red-ball and white-ball cricket are required. Playing this style throughout the season is enjoyable, but there are always obstacles to overcome and you have to change and adjust.
“A comparable experience is provided by the state league. The pressure and procedure are the same. Playing in the state league for the last two seasons has been a great experience for me. The state league is very significant, and it is helping me now in the IPL,” he continued.
On Sunday, May 18, the Delhi Capitals will play the Gujarat Titans in their twelfth IPL 2025 encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
