Mitchell Marsh talks about his new mustache, saying he's "trying to be like Heady."

Mitchell Marsh, an all-rounder, has grown his mustache in preparation for the second Test against Pakistan, which is scheduled to start in Melbourne on December 26. The 32-year-old gave an explanation for his current moustache growth, saying that it was because he wanted to resemble Travis Head.

Marsh has been a vital member of Australia’s Test team in terms of performance. In addition to saying that he is now enjoying his time in the middle of red-ball cricket, the cricket player said that he has finally found his calling as a Test player.

All the guy is doing is attempting to emulate Heady. My approach to batting in Perth aligns with my desired style of cricket play. I’ve truly come into my own as a Test cricket player over the last four games. According to Fox Cricket, Marsh said, “I’m loving it.”

I’m hoping I can remain polite and reliable. Mitchell Marsh

For the greater part of his playing career, Mitchell Marsh was not regarded as a legitimate Test player. Many ailments have plagued him throughout his career, delaying his progress in red-ball cricket, but things have turned around recently. In the Ashes 2023 playing XI, the Perth-born cricket player took Cameron Green’s spot, and ever since, he has established himself as a regular member of the squad. Now, the all-rounder wants to stay kind and reliable in order to keep his spot in the starting lineup.

“I’ve discovered a successful strategy… Hopefully, I can continue to contribute and play in a pleasant, consistent manner. I feel privileged to have been given another chance, and even though I don’t think I’ll ever hold a seat on the squad, I’m having a great time right now. I can simply be myself in this really defined character, and hopefully I can stay a little while longer,” Marsh remarked.
