Australia’s big tour to England will begin on September 4 with a three-match Twenty20 International series against Scotland. The Mitchell Marsh-led team had a difficult matchup with Scotland in the T20 World Cup, but they prevailed in the game’s last over. In light of this, Marsh stated that Scotland may be a challenging team to defeat and that they have made significant progress recently.
The team captained by Richie Bennington will begin as the underdogs, but they are capable of pulling a surprise, particularly because Australia has rested several of their great players. While players such as Marcus Stoinis, Travis Head, Tim David, and Cameron Green are eligible for selection, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Mitchell Starc have been rested. David Warner retired in the interim, and Steve Smith is no longer in the running.
Despite this, Mitchell Marsh stated that it is not a reset and that he is happy to offer some young players who have shown themselves in domestic cricket opportunities.

After Warner’s retirement, Australia will be playing a T20I series for the first time. In relation to this, Marsh said that the team’s younger members miss him in the locker room and that he hopes they can take inspiration from his remarkable career.
