“Australia 450-2, all out India 65” – Mitchell Marsh’s audacious prediction for the summit match of the 2023 ODI World Cup

Unquestionably, one of the most prominent and much-awaited competitions in the sport is the ODI World Cup 2023. India will host the event in 2023, with the top cricketing nations giving it their all to win the coveted title. Having not won an ICC trophy since 2013, the Rohit Sharma-led team would be eager to break the curse and bring the World Cup back home after 12 years.

After their exciting victory over New Zealand in the super over in 2019, England is the tournament’s defending champion. In addition to them, Pat Cummins‘ Australia would want to win the match. The Kangaroos previously won the championship in 2015, and all-rounder Mitchell Marsh believed they had it in them to repeat.

Mitchell Marsh, who is currently playing for the Delhi Capitals in the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, made a daring prediction for the 2023 ODI World Cup final. “Australia overcame India to remain unbeaten. India all out 65, Australia 450/2,” Marsh stated in a Delhi Capitals podcast.

IPL 2023’s Delhi Capitals are having trouble regaining their form.
In the IPL 2023, the Delhi Capitals’ season has been one to forget. David Warner, who has eight points after ten games, is leading them in the IPL points table. They needed to win all of their remaining games in order to be in the running for postseason qualification after losing six games overall.

On Wednesday, May 10, they will play their next match against the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Given their present performance, Delhi may find it difficult to defeat the MS Dhoni-led Chennai team.

They would, however, be entering the match with back-to-back wins over the Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore. David Warner would want to take advantage of their recent victory and would want to beat the Chepauk challenge as well.
