At an early age, the Gwalior native began playing cricket under his father’s close supervision. He made an impression on cricket fans during the 2021–2022 Ranji Trophy season after performing well in age-group cricket.
In 10 first-class games thus far, Akshat Raghuwanshi, who is renowned for his strong defensive style, has scored 421 runs at an average of 32.38.
He has amassed 192 runs at an average of 27.42 in 10 innings of List A cricket. Additionally, he has participated in seven Twenty20 matches, scoring 63 runs at a strike rate of 131.25.
After smashing 105 off 45 balls against the Bhopal Leopards in MP’s local T20 competition, he further cemented his status as a power hitter by scoring 239 runs at a strike rate of 177 in four innings.
Renowned coach Chandrakant Pandit and Madhya Pradesh cricketer Venkatesh Iyer have been outspoken about his ability.
Akshat Raghuwanshi spoke with Revsportz ahead of the IPL mini-auction. He stated throughout the conversation that his only hope for the IPL auction is to be selected by a team at the very least.
