Matthew Wade comments on Australia's Super Eight preparation, saying, "Going to get a heap of spin."

Australia has qualified for the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup after three consecutive victories. They possess the qualities to contend for the crown once more, and their approach has been outstanding thus far. Adam Zampa has taken eight wickets in three matches so far, but their two standout batsmen thus far are David Warner and Marcus Stoinis.

Australia would be aware that spin will become increasingly important as the competition goes on. The West Indies’ surfaces currently favour spinners, and this trend will only deepen with time. The players have already begun to get ready for spin-friendly tracks, according to keeper-batter Matthew Wade’s analysis of the same.

He also mentioned Australia’s Super Eight match against India in St. Lucia, stating that it will be challenging for them.

Depending on the venue, many of us have braced ourselves for a tonne of spin. It will be wonderful if we might face India at St Lucia, as it is a good wicket. However, a tonne of spin will be forthcoming. Through the world, from the Indian Premier League until the opening of this World Cup, guys have been preparing for it. The West Australian cited Wade as stating, “We expect nothing different, and on their day they’re all going to be very very hard teams to beat.”

Matthew Wade talks about his plans for Twenty20 cricket.

Wade expressed his desire that his final dance for Australia wouldn’t be during the current T20 World Cup. Though he isn’t ready to give up just yet, he did mention that the team may see a lot of fresh blood in the near future. But, Wade is prepared to resign if the management feels that other cricket players are more important than him.

“I perform best when it’s my final chance. It will be the same chat at the end of this one, if I can extract some decent material in the following few minutes. Some players are set to leave this team. When the next group of players enters the game to represent Australia, I’m more than happy to be one of them, Wade remarked.
