Star cricketer Marnus Labuschagne of Australia is now training with Queensland in anticipation of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2024–25. In the Sheffield Shield, which began on Tuesday, October 8, he is leading Queensland.
In the first match, Labuschagne, who is well-known for his on-field theatrics and strategies, went on the attack against Western Australia. He was sent on to bowl the 64th over of the opening innings, as Josh Inglis and Sam Whiteman of Western Australia were putting on a show of fearsome partnership.
It’s interesting that : Marnus Labuschagne chose to bowl at medium pace as opposed to his usual spin.
All eyes were focused on Labuschagne, though, as he positioned a fielder next to him at the bowling mark. After positioning the fielder directly behind the umpire, he moved him slightly to the left.

Western Australia reaches 465 thanks to Whiteman and Inglis centuries.
Western Australia batted first to start the match. After Cameron Bancroft left for a duck, the team did not have the best of starts. But centuries from Josh Inglis (122 off117) and Whiteman (102 off237) put the side ahead. Western Australia lost seven wickets and amassed 319 runs at the end of the first day of play in the match.
Additionally, Western Australia reached 465 thanks to half-centuries from Cameron Green (53 off 92) and Cooper Connolly (79 off 103).

Regarding Labuschagne, the captain bowled three overs at a time, all of which were at pace. Despite failing to capture a wicket on the first day, he finished with statistics of 6.2-3-5-2 on the second day after taking out Green and Brody Couch.
