At the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Rohit, who had only amassed 56 runs from his opening five innings of the 2025 Indian Premier League, blasted three sixes in his innings and helped Mumbai get off to a fast start as they attempted to reach a goal of 163 runs. With four wickets and eleven balls remaining, the five-time champs were victorious.
According to Boucher, who spoke to JioHotstar, Rohit assumed responsibility for pursuing the bowlers that day, and he was pleased by the opening batsman’s aim. According to Boucher, Rohit placed pressure on the SRH bowlers by attacking them during the powerplay.

According to Michael Clarke, MI needs Rohit’s aggressive style of play. The former Australian captain shares Boucher’s belief that India’s Test and ODI captain is close to scoring a significant amount of runs.
