Makhaya Ntini discusses the science and artistry of Jasprit Bumrah bowling motion.

Makhaya Ntini, a former fast bowler for South Africa, showered praise on Jasprit Bumrah, saying that India’s bowling attack would not be the same without the 30-year-old. More than a year has passed since the star speedster from India last played, and he is back during the first Test match against the Proteas in Centurion. He last participated in a red-ball game during India’s postponed Test match against England in July 2022. He then missed time with a back injury and made a comeback in 2023.

The manner in which Jasprit Bumrah, bowled his deliveries charmed Makhaya Ntini, who said the latter appeared to have strong wrists. The former Proteas pacer went on to discuss how the Indian squad has profited from his services and to showcase his yorkers.

“Observe Bumrah’s release of the ball. From the crown of his head, he lets go of the ball. So he finds the angle to re-enter the ball. He has the ability to pitch and then straighten pitches. I’m not sure if he has strong wrists, but the action is always the same, which adds to its beauty. “Ntini was cited by India Today.

He doesn’t miss any of his yorkers, which is what everyone enjoys. The 46-year-old continued, “India isn’t the [same] team without Bumrah.

Since returning to the international arena, Jasprit Bumrah, has excelled.

Jasprit Bumrah’s back issue had kept him out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 edition, the Border Gavaskar Trophy, and the 2022 T20 World Cup. The 30-year-old, who had surgery in New Zealand, was back in action for India’s Ireland series as the T20I skipper. Since returning to the international setup, he has excelled.

After losing to Australia in the final by six wickets, he had a great World Cup campaign, with India finishing in second place. His most notable performance came in Ahmedabad against Pakistan, their bitter rivals, where he finished with statistics of 2/19 and was named Player of the Match. In the major tournament, the fast bowler bowled the most dot balls and finished as India’s second-highest wicket-taker with 20 wickets.
