After Lucknow Super Giants scored the highest total of the current IPL season, pacer Yash Thakur believed the team had the confidence and conviction to post a massive total from the beginning of the game. He did admit, however, that he did not anticipate the team scoring one of the highest totals in IPL history.

Thakur was instrumental in safeguarding LSG’s enormous total against Punjab. He dismissed Sikandar Raza, Jitesh Sharma, Shahrukh Khan, and Rahul Chahar for four wickets. In addition to Thakur, Naveen-ul-Haq took three wickets, Ravi Bishnoi took two, and Marcus Stoinis took one as LSG dismissed PBKS for 201 runs with one delivery remaining.
