Recently, Jaideep Bihani, convener of the Rajasthan Cricket Association’s (RCA) ad hoc committee, accused the well-known Rajasthan Royals (RR) of match-fixing in the Indian Premier League. Notably, at the famed Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur, RR played the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a recent IPL 2025 match.
At one point, Rajasthan Royals was in a strong position and was rapidly approaching victory over LSG.
Nevertheless, there was an abrupt breakdown, and the home team lost. This thus sparked a number of questions about the team’s performance during the current campaign.
“The Rajasthani state government has established the ad hoc committee. We received our sixth extension after our work was examined. “From the district level to the national level, we have successfully conducted all competitions during our tenure,” Jaideep Bihani stated in an interview with News 18 Rajasthan.
However, the Sports Council quickly took over when it came time to host the IPL. The BCCI first just wrote to the RCA regarding the IPL. We don’t have an MOU from Sawai Mansingh Stadium, the Sports Council and RR said as an excuse. What if the MOU doesn’t exist? You pay the Sports Council for each game, don’t you? Bihani enquired.
