Though 'glad', Litton Das thinks that his Rawalpindi century is not his greatest knock

Litton scored 138 runs, contributing to Bangladesh's first-inning total of 262 runs.

In the current second Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the score was 26/6 at one point. Since the hosts intended to finish the match early, Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz established a vital 165-run partnership that gave Bangladesh hope and helped them escape difficulty. The Najmul Hossain Shanto-led team scored 262 runs in the first innings thanks to 78 runs from Miraz and 138 from Litton.

In Tests, it was Litton Das’s fourth century.

Although Litton’s knock against Sri Lanka in Mirpur in 2022 was deemed the most satisfactory, he refused to agree that it was his best Test knock given the circumstances. Compared to his tonne against Pakistan, Litton feels that the Mirpur tonne is a more unique knock. Still, he conveyed his thanks for the chance and for assisting Bangladesh in registering a respectable score.
