One of the Karachi Kings’ important players, wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das, has been ruled out of the competition owing to a finger injury, dealing them a blow ahead of their opening PSL 2025 matchup against the Multan Sultans. For the Bangladeshi star who was anticipating the tournament, this is a tragic turn of events.
The Bangladeshi keeper, who was probably going to play in the top order, had been signed by the Karachi Kings. It was described as a hairline fracture in the medical papers. Das concluded the tweet by wishing the Kings luck before the competition and stating that he was returning to Bangladesh by plane.
Litton Das disclosed that the injury occurred while he was practicing with the team.
“I hope everyone is doing well. Though the Almighty had other ideas, I was genuinely thrilled to play for the Karachi Kings in the PSL. I injured my finger during a practice session. A hairline fracture was discovered via scans, and at least two weeks will be needed for healing. My PSL mission ended before it ever started, which is quite unfortunate. I’m hoping for a speedy recovery with your love and prayers as I take a plane back to Bangladesh. “I’m wishing my team, the Karachi Kings, the best of luck,” Das wrote on Facebook.
