The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) squad members, coaching staff, teammates, physiotherapists, trainers, commentators, and most importantly the devoted fans who supported him throughout his career despite all the ups and downs received this genuine appreciation.
“As a player, I’ve done my best, tried my best, respected the game, and served my homeland with honesty and integrity. It was a hard choice to make, but I won’t go into detail about the numerous unanticipated factors that led me to make this choice, voluntarily or not, in his moving Facebook post.
