Kuldeep Yadav removes newly posted picture with fiancée Vanshika

Kuldeep Yadav, a star Indian spinner, got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in a secret ceremony in Lucknow on Wednesday, June 4. He then deleted a photo of them on Instagram.

Friends and relatives attended the couple’s intimate wedding. Like Kuldeep, Uttar Pradesh-born Indian hitter Rinku Singh attended. Kuldeep’s LIC-employed fiancée, Vanshika, is from Lucknow’s Shyam Nagar.

Kuldeep Yadav is preparing with the Indian team for a five-match Test series against England in the UK for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Kuldeep, 30, has played 13 Tests, 113 ODIs, and 40 T20Is for India. His last Test was the October Bengaluru first Test against New Zealand last year.

In his only Test match in England, the Kanpur-born bowled nine overs without a wicket. All India Men’s Senior Selection Committee’s 18-man squad against The Three Lions includes just Kuldeep Yadav, a specialist spinner. Their spin-bowling all-rounders are Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar.

Kuldeep has a good record versus England. He has taken 21 wickets at 22.28 and 38.70 in six matches. He had his best bowling performance in Dharamsala in 2024, taking five wickets for 72 runs in the first innings against England. The Aligarh-born batsman added 30 runs and two wickets in the Test match’s final innings.

After Ravichandran Ashwin retired midway through the Border-Gavaskar series, fans and experts expect Kuldeep to play more, starting with the England tour.
