On June 4, Indian cricketer and spinner Kuldeep Yadav and his childhood friend Vanshika were engaged in a private ceremony in Lucknow. Close family members and a few other Uttar Pradesh cricket players, including Rinku Singh, attended the private gathering.
The pair exchanged rings in a customary manner during the ceremony, which was held at a location in the city. Vanshika, who works for the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), is from Shyam Nagar. Fans and well-wishers have taken notice of the engagement.
Kuldeep Yadav was recently spotted playing for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 2025 season. Despite winning seven games, the team placed sixth in the standings. The 30-year-old had a respectable season, taking 15 wickets at an economy rate of 7.07 in 14 games.
Kuldeep Yadav has been an important member of the Indian national squad outside of the IPL, helping them win the 2025 Champions Trophy and the 2024 T20 World Cup.

India’s forthcoming five-match Test series against England, which begins on June 20 at Headingley, Leeds, will have Kuldeep in action. In the 18-man Indian team, he is the only specialist spinner, a position that will be vital to him in England. After Ravichandran Ashwin retired from international cricket, his involvement became even more crucial.
As India embarks on a new era in Test cricket, Kuldeep Yadav performance will be crucial. Rishabh Pant is the vice-captain of the team, and Shubman Gill, the recently named Test captain, is in charge. With a young team playing a formidable England team at home, this tour represents a daring move for Indian cricket. The emphasis would be on how the upcoming generation handles the Three Lions, while Indian veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma rested their feet from the longest format.
