For her outstanding achievement at the Women’s World Cup 2025, Kranti Goud has been awarded INR 1 crore by the Madhya Pradesh government. Kranti Goud bowled at an economy rate of 5.73 and took nine wickets in the eight games.
In addition to congratulating Kranti Goud and the Indian team on their outstanding performance at the huge event, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also revealed the sizeable prize for the rising Indian star.
“I would like to congratulate everyone on the outstanding performance in cricket last night by the daughters of our state and the nation. Another member of the women’s World Cup winning squad was Kranti Gaud, a daughter from Madhya Pradesh. I would want to congratulate Kranti and offer her a one-crore Indian rupee incentive from the state government. “I declare that I will give Kranti, the daughter of Chhatarpur, INR 1 crore,” Mohan said, according to The Economic Times.
Kranti Goud stood out with impressive figures of 3/20 in 10 overs.
Kranti’s first appearance in India was in 2025. Before the World Cup, which ended recently, she had only participated in seven ODIs. At the conclusion of the major event, Kranti Goud had taken 23 wickets in 15 games.
At the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on October 5, India played Pakistan in a high-stress match. Because to her bowling performance, she was named Player of the Match, and India won by 88 runs.
