The world knows nothing about the bond between India’s most renowned football player, Sunil Chhetri, and cricket legend Virat Kohli. The two have developed a friendship that embodies strong brotherhood that transcends the confines of their respective sports. The two continue to speak frequently, and Chhetri recently expressed his admiration for Virat’s obsession with fitness despite the fact that he is one of the world’s top-ranked cricket players.
In London, England, where he presently resides with his family, Virat just completed a required fitness evaluation. All players were required to do the exams, and since the New Delhi native was unable to attend the BCC’s Centre of Excellence facility in Bengaluru, he had his tests completed in England. He then shared the results with Chhetri.
“Kohli was sending me the results of one of his tests a few days ago.
It is incredibly addictive, and getting to know folks like this is wonderful. You think, “Let’s go,” when you see them on your bad days when you’re feeling a little slack. According to Indian Express, Chhetri stated on the DesiPL podcast, “When you are at the top, everyone wants to be a Virat Kohli or a Ronaldo, and for these two to keep their place is unbelievable.”
“I’m not directly acquainted with Ronaldo. I have seen and examined him. From Kohli, I know Virat. These two have one thing in common: they simply don’t like what they’ve accomplished thus far. He continued, “I tried to instill the same thing in my own way because once you start thinking about what you have done, whether it was good or bad, you are not on the track that you want to be.”
The ODI series against Australia Down Under, which begins in October, will mark the 36-year-old’s return to cricket action. Kohli will only play 50-over internationals for the Men in Blue after the 2027 ODI World Cup, which will take place in Africa. He is retired from Test and T20 internationals.
