Ace On Friday, October 3, Indian cricketer KL Rahul celebrated his recent century in a special way. On Day 2 of the first Test of the two-match series in Ahmedabad, Rahul scored his 11th Test century for India against the West Indies.
Following his 199 in the 2016 Chennai Test against England, the 197-ball 100 was his second Test tonne at home. In the 65th over of India’s opening innings, KL Rahul jogged through for a single after flicking the ball beyond short midwicket.
Then, in a singular celebration, he lifted his bat, took off his helmet, and stuck two fingers in his mouth. KL Rahul told reporters following the play’s conclusion that the celebration was for Evaarah, his and Athiya Shetty’s daughter, who was born in March 2025.

KL Rahul was unable to increase his total, though, as Jomel Warrican eliminated him right after lunch when Justin Greaves caught him at covers.
Twelve fours were included in KL Rahul exquisite knock.
India finished the day with 448/5 in 128 overs. For the fifth wicket, Dhruv Jurel (125 off 210) and Ravindra Jadeja (104* off 176) formed a 206-run partnership. The wicketkeeper-batter became Khary Pierre’s first Test wicket, ending Jurel’s spectacular innings.
On the third day of the match, India’s batting will resume with Jadeja and Washington Sundar (9* off 13). The lead for the hosts is already a huge 286 runs. For a young and comparatively inexperienced West Indian team, writing a comeback from here appears to be getting harder and harder.
Sai Sudharsan was the only batter to score in the single digits out of the five that fell. He received a 7 off 19 dismissal.
