KL Rahul has excelled in both local and international cricket, solidifying his position as one of the best batsmen in Indian cricket. Rahul has been the foundation of every squad he has played for since he is a dependable anchor and a consistent performer. On April 11, 2013, Rahul made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut in Bengaluru against the Kolkata Knight Riders. He has since kept up his impressive play throughout the competition, consistently scoring 4683 runs. Three of his IPL century have come against the Mumbai Indians, and one came against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Rahul made his Test debut against Australia in Melbourne on December 26, 2014, after earning a well-earned call-up to the Indian national team for his domination in domestic cricket. With 110 runs off 262 balls during his debut tour of Australia, he scored a Test century to signal his entrance on the big stage. He never looked back after that and went on to record two T20I hundreds, seven ODI hundreds, and eight Test hundreds.
