Prior to receiving approval from the BCCI’s medical team, the selectors had originally included Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja in the roster. However, there are new concerns about injuries, which make his future uncertain and his return to the starting lineup murky.

Under the guidance of the BCCI Medical Team, Mr. Rahul has attained 90% match fitness and is making good progress, according to a press release from the BCCI.
