While KL Rahul’s 68 off 43 at the tail end helped India finish their innings with 285 runs, Yashasvai Jaiswal’s explosive 72 off 51 was the high point of the Indian batting lineup. Tamim Iqbal, a cricketer from Bangladesh, discussed his opinions on KL Rahul’s batting, saying that he is one of the players who is constantly under pressure and that his status is occasionally questioned.

Sadly, there are usually one or two players on every squad who are constantly under pressure. They’ve performed well if you look at their metrics from earlier. However, we placed them under pressure for an odd reason after one game without a goal. KL Rahul is that member of the Indian team. After he loses one or two games, people begin to discuss it and cast doubt on his status. That’s not very fair, in my opinion.”
In addition, Iqbal talked about Zakir Hasan’s dismissal in the second innings, saying, “It was inevitable that you would be dismissed against a bowling attack like Ashwin and Bumrah if you bat in a survival mode.” You need to think of a constructive strategy. It’s not necessary to hit sixes and fours to be positive; one can simply be positive defensively. Positive thinking improves judgement and defence. Bangladesh is culpable, in my opinion. Their strategy was quite unfavourable.
He continued, saying, “A night watchman’s job is to face as many balls as possible, save the batters, and defend, and Hasan did exactly the opposite.” After Hasan Mahmud lost his wicket to Ravichandran Ashwin, he talked about the duties of a night watchman. You are not able to slog.
