During the post-match press conference, Kevin Pietersen, the mentor of the Delhi Capitals, reflected on the game and stated, “We lost the toss.” If we had won the toss, I believe we would have pursued as well. Getting the toss right was crucial. Batting, in my opinion, became a little bit simpler in the latter stages. Because the pitch was dry in the middle overs of the first innings, it was a little more difficult for us. The circumstances and the toss, in my opinion, simply did not work out well for us.
