After a respectable international career with the Indian side, the Pune native announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in June 2024. In the One-Dayers, he claimed 27 wickets at an economy rate of 5.15, demonstrating his effectiveness as a part-time bowler.
Throughout his career, which lasted from 2009 until 2023, the 40-year-old has also been a mainstay in the Indian Premier League, playing for winning teams like the Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
In 2010, Kedar Jadhav also played for the now-defunct Kerala Kochi Tuskers.
Kedar Jadhav knock against England during an ODI at his home stadium in Pune is what people remember him for the most. The Three Lions set India a target of 351 after 50 overs in the first One-Day International of the series in 2017. The hosts were struggling as they batted second, with half the team scoring a total of just 63 runs. Kedar Jadhav then took matters into his own hands, dominating the English bowlers with a resounding 120 off of just 76 balls. He also helped the Indian team win the match with 11 balls remaining by forming a 200-run stand with Virat Kohli (122 off 105).
